My Old Kentucky home: Bernheim Forest (Clermont, KY)

Hey babes!

This past week I went on a hike to Bernhiem Forest. Bernhiem was created by German immigrant Isaac W. Bernhiem in 1929. A place created so that people can enjoy nature, and be treated as equals regardless of race and status.

This place is known for the giants that live there. There are these super cool wooden giants built throughout the forest and it’s so fun to find. If you go, you gotta get a pic of these works of art. It was so cool and the lakes on this trail are breathtaking. Looking around on hikes with my mother and sister in law makes me feel like Kentucky is one of the most gorgeous states ever. I’ve always been a nature lover but hiking makes me feel so good!
