3 Feminist characters You’ll Fall in Love With (Netflix)

Hello lovelies!

With quarantine being a thing still it seems like going out isn’t going to happen anytime soon. With that being said I’ve been passing the time with binge watching some fun shows on Netflix. I personally love a series with a strong female lead and these lovelies take the cake for most charming. Without spoiling too much I wanted to share what I love about each character. If you have any other suggestions please feel free to comment your fav female leads.

Beth: The Queen’s Gambit

Beth Harmon ranks number one when it comes to feminist ranking. The time period alone (Cold War Era), makes Beth particularly unique compared to most heroines. What makes Beth special is she values her wit over her beauty, and believe me, she’s stunning in this series. I adore the fashion choices in the series and think she makes modest look so sexy and fun.

Emily: Emily in Paris

Emily from Emily in Paris, is definitely something. Em is probably the most relatable when it comes to the modern woman. She’s spunky, intelligent, creative, and not to mention daring! Without giving too much away you definitely see how this modern girl adapts to being out of her comfort zone, while making the best of it. That’s what makes Emily truly amazing!

Mel: Virgin River

Ah, Mel, where do I begin? Virgin River is definitely a huge obsession of mine. Mel proves herself to once again be so selfless above all. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do to protect the people she cares about or help a patient. As the series goes on, you feel for her more and more. I guess you’ll just have to watch to find out.
